LAB 8

The fully active version of the LAB 8 is powered by the proven WestLab A-module, featuring an IIR DSP and a 1-kW Class-D amplifier.

As in the passive version, the 8" coaxial driver delivers nearfield performance unmatched in this enclosure size. Like all loudspeakers from WestLab Audio GmbH, the LAB 8 has been engineered with strict phase alignment as a core design principle. This ensures that even in highly dynamic environments, the LAB 8 remains the ideal companion for audiences who want to enjoy events at a comfortable volume — without being distracted by the reproduced sound.

Five customer-optimized presets can be selected via a button on the rear panel. When combined with one or more subwoofers, the LAB 8 can also be switched via the rear panel to operate as a mid-high satellite through a high-pass filter.
